SkinMed® Super HydroGel
Hydrogel intended for the treatment of injured skin and mucous membranes

Characteristics: SkinMed® Super HydroGel is a hydroactive gel designed for treatment and faster healing of all types of wounds. The application is painless, it does not burn or irritate. SkinMed Super HydroGel hydrates the wound, reduces microbial wound load, reduces the possibility of secondary infection, creates a humid environment and reduces the alkaline pH of the wound, helping the body to develop its own healing process. It alleviates necrosis and devitalized tissue. The gel consistency is optimal for application in all positions (it does not run down), it adheres perfectly to the wound or skin defect site. It provides atraumatic wound dressing. It reduces healing time. Non-allergenic, safe when licked or swallowed.
The product can be used for all target species except fish and amphibians.
Application: SkinMed® Super HydroGel is designed for treatment and faster healing of all types of wounds (postoperative, bite, stabbing, cutting, laceration), both superficial and very deep wounds. Also for burns, pressure sores, bruises, skin sores, skin irritation. Very suitable for common mechanical treatment of minor wounds. It is indicated for the treatment of interdigital spaces and skin folds.
Ingredients: SkinMed® Super solution (97.16 %), Carbomer, Triethanolamine
First aid measures:
Skin contact: not irritating, only individuals very sensitive to chlorine may develop mild irritation which will disappear after a short time.
Eye contact: not irritating, very sensitive individuals with irritated eyes should rinse with running water. Ingestion: in case of ingestion of less than 1 dcl, no measures are necessary. In case of ingestion of large quantities, allow the animal to drink a large amount of water if possible and seek the advice of a veterinarian.
Directions for use: Clean the wound of any physical impurities including hair, feathers, etc. Thoroughly rinse the wound to the bottom with SkinMed® Super rinse solution. Then apply the gel from the original package directly to the defect so that it follows the edges in a sufficiently thick layer. If a dressing is required, apply a sufficient amount of gel directly to the defect with each replacement. Apply 3-4 times a day until the wound heals. The gel is compatible with all wound dressing materials. If necessary, combination with other products as determined by the veterinarian is possible, including the injection of antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and other preparations. Do not use in conjunction with topical ATBs (antibiotics) in collagen carriers. The topical effects of ATBs may be reduced.
Handling and storage: Long-term storage in original containers out of reach of children in a cool and dark place. A small amount of the product can be disposed of by dilution with water and flushing into the sewer. The preparation is a clear gel. Empty containers after rinsing with water can be disposed of together with municipal waste.
Warning:
Do not use if the animal is allergic to any of the substances.
Shelf life: 18 months
